An independent alumni group selects one graduate each year for the honor, and Dr. Strange was chosen from a strong field of nominees this year.
The Grapevine High School Hall of Fame recognizes graduates whose achievements and community impact reflect the values of the Grapevine-Colleyville community. For many years, the program has celebrated one honoree annually, chosen by alumni organizers from a pool of community nominations.
AVI has also welcomed a number of fellow Grapevine High School alumni as patients over the years, a detail Dr. Strange sees as a natural extension of his hometown ties.
Dr. Strange grew up in Grapevine and graduated from Grapevine High School before training in ophthalmology.
