Local Financial Institution Awards $300K in Scholarships to Southern Nevada Students Through Partnerships With the Public Education Foundation and Project 150
LAS VEGAS, NV, UNITED STATES, June 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Credit One Bank celebrated another impactful year of its One For The Community Scholarship program, awarding a total of $300,000 in scholarships to Southern Nevada students pursuing higher education in the state. In partnership with the Public Education Foundation (PEF) and, for the first time, Project 150, the scholarship program continues to support local students as they take the next step in their educational journeys.
Through the ongoing Public Education Foundation partnership, 20 students were selected to receive a $10,000 scholarship, totaling $200,000 awarded this year. Additionally, Credit One Bank expanded the initiative in 2026 through a new partnership with Project 150, awarding 10 more students with $10,000 scholarships each for another $100,000. Altogether, Credit One Bank awarded $300,000 in scholarships this year alone.
Since the program launched in 2023, 47 students had previously been funded through the Public Education Foundation scholarship program. With the addition of this year’s 20 Public Education Foundation recipients and 10 new Project 150 recipients, the total number of students impacted by the initiative has grown to 77.
“We’re incredibly proud to continue growing the One For The Community Scholarship program and expanding opportunities for Southern Nevada students,” said Mamta Kapoor, Community Reinvestment Officer with Credit One Bank. “This year’s recipients have demonstrated remarkable determination, leadership and commitment to their futures. By expanding the program through our new partnership with Project 150, we’re able to reach even more deserving students and continue investing in the future of our community.”
