Fun-Filled Evening will Feature a Star-Studded Line-Up of Current and Former Giants Players to Benefit Hype 4 Life Foundation for Families Impacted by Autism

New York Giants linebacker Brian Burns has announced that he is hosting the annual New York Giants Celebrity Softball Game at Clover Stadium in Pomona, NY on Saturday, May 30. The charity softball game will pit your favorite New York Giants – both current and former – against one another as they test their skills on the baseball diamond. Burns will captain the team of players currently on the Giants roster, while former Giants running back, Brandon Jacobs, will be captain of the veteran team that will be composed of greats from the Super Bowl XLII and XLVI champion teams.
Players scheduled to appear include Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo, Isaiah Likely, Arvell Reese, Ahmad Bradshaw, Amani Toomer, Shaun O’Hara and more. A portion of the proceeds will go to Hype 4 Life Foundation, a nonprofit organization started by Brian Burns and his brother Stanley McClover, dedicated to supporting families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.
New York Giants fan favorite Joe Ruback (aka License Plate Guy) is excited to see the event back in action this year. “Getting this amazing group of athletes together for a high-energy, fun-filled day, all while supporting an incredible cause like Hype 4 Life, never gets old.”
The night’s activities will include a dodgeball game and a home-run derby, followed by the celebrity softball game, where the NFL pros will go up to bat. Attendess can also enter a raffle to win a custom NY Giants-wrapped golf cart.

The Hype 4 Life Foundation is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and supporting families affected by these challenges. Founded by Stanley V. McClover Jr., a former NFL player for the Carolina Panthers, the foundation was inspired by his 7-year-old son, “Champ,” who is also the nephew of New York Giants star outside linebacker Brian Burns. Together, Stanley and Brian aim to raise awareness of autism within the NFL community and nationwide.

Joe Ruback, better known as License Plate Guy, is an iconic New York Giants fan – best known for the lanyard of NY Giant license plates he wears around his neck at each game. When he’s not hanging out, taking pictures with fellow Giant’s fans outside the stadium, Ruback is the Athletic Director at the Biondi School in Yonkers, New York.
